i just want to start off by saying that I am so sorry that I haven’t posted in a week or so I was trying to post during going back to school but unfortunately it didn’t workout, hopefully I will get back to posting soon!
the other day I realised that I have quite a few empty products lying round the house ( I’ve been saving up on them to do this!) so I thought that there was no better time to do this post!
Item 1: collection illuminated touch foundation in the shade 3 cool beige!
I am going to be honest, I didn’t really like this foundation in the beginning. I had recently purchased the lasting perfection concealer and loved it so much I decided to purchase a foundation from the same company. To start with it felt quite cakey and it did oxidise on my face straight after application. After a few months of leaving it I decided to give it a second shot and this time it was a little bit better. The colour did not oxidise on my face as much but I did still find it cakey.
After all of that I would probably not re purchase this!
Item 2: batiste cherry dry shampoo !
i have always used batiste dry shampoo but have never tried this exact bottle. The smell is very sweet and fruity which I love! I do have brown hair so the product did leave some white powder on my hair after spraying but all I had to do was massage it in and it went away pretty quickly!
I would definitely repurchase this product!
Item 3: collection invisible setting powder!
i picked this up after seeing that collection had teamed up with witch skin care to realease some products, I have oily skin so I thought this would be perfect for me! This powder did claim to be invisible but after using it for a couple of weeks I realised that my foundation was looking a lot lighter that usual which was not a good look at all😂!
I realized that it was the powder which was making my foundation look a lot lighter and I do know that most powders aren’t always that invisible but this was just making me look ghostly! Apart from the colour the actual powder was really nice! It felt really silky and soft and because it had witch hazel in it, it did matify my skin and help my foundation stay on all day! It is such a shame that the colour wasn’t that great!
Item 4: Tesco hand cream
I know that Tesco might not be the first place you would go to get hand cream but I thought it was really good! I adored the scent it smelt quite floral, and the hand cream itself also had vitamin B5 and vitamin E in which made my hands feel really hydrated!
i would definitly pick this up again! I hope you enjoyed this post! Please let me know if you have tried any of these products before and what you thought of them!
